What began as a temporary job behind the front desk quickly turned into a lifelong passion for founder Lora — and the start of something special. With over 20 years in the industry, Lora has built The District Salon into a space where talent, trust, and genuine care come together.

AMANDA BUCHAN
Specializing in highlights, blondes, and balayage, Amanda is passionate about helping her clients look and feel their absolute best. With over twenty years of experience in the industry, she has expanded her expertise to include Great Lengths and Bellami Hair Extensions, offering a full range of services tailored to enhance natural beauty.
Amanda is known for creating custom hair color and styles that leave her clients feeling confident, radiant, and refreshed. She stays current on the latest trends, techniques, and treatments to ensure every guest receives the very best care and results.
When she’s not behind the chair, Amanda enjoys exploring the Northern California coast and wine country. She finds balance and inspiration at home in Dana Point, where she lives with her husband and their beloved dogs.

BECKY VOTH
Becky has over 20 years of experience specializing in gray coverage, low-maintenance color, and fine or thinning hair. She likes to create a calm, supportive space where you can feel at ease—whether you’re infor a mental tune-up or prefer total quiet with my silent retreat option - just ask!
She believes hair care should be intuitive, low-stress, and aligned with your lifestyle.
Her work blends skill with sensitivity, using techniques and products that support long-term health and natural beauty.
When Becky’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her out in nature at the beach, cooking nourishing meals, learning about astrology, practicing breathwork, spending quiet time with loved ones, or exploring local shops and cafés. These simple pleasures inspire the way she lives and work!

CARLI ANDERSON
Carli is a blonde specialist and root-touch-up queen known for her efficient, thoughtful approach to hair care. She’s dedicated to the women who keep the world turning—her loyal every-three-weekers who love a flawless root, a few foils, and a visit that feels like emotional maintenance. Carli is all about low-maintenance glam, the “just a trim” crowd, and those who don’t need a photo shoot at the end of every appointment. She understands her clients have busy lives, but ensures they leave feeling like the only one in the room. When she’s not behind the chair, Carli enjoys exploring new music and the outdoors.

CASEY ETCHEBARREN
With 35 years of experience behind the chair, Casey specializes in cutting all hair types, especially curly hair. She also specializes in perms, coloring, and special event styling. Casey has done hair for Miss California, Miss Minnesota, Miss America, and The Minnesota Viking Cheerleaders. When Casey isn‘t making major hair transformations happen, you can find her golfing, paddle boarding, or motorcycling along the coast, and she loves animals. If you’re looking for a stylist that is detail oriented and will partner with you to make your hair goals a reality, then Casey is your girl!

CHRISTINE CANTU
Christine has always had a passion for hair, from blondes to brunettes, she loves being able to create luxury hair for her clients and make them feel beautiful. Christine is certified in Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatments and she is proficient in multiple types of extension applications, from Tape-In to Wefts and even Keratin Extensions. No matter what your dream hair style may be , Christine can make it happen!

ELFA MASON
Elfa has been doing hair in Dana Point for over 20 years, she believes in quality hair color and products to help maintain hair looking healthy and shiny. Elfa is certified in Keratin Complex Treatment, not only does she know texture, she has honed in on her skills as an expert in color and highlighting. She has worked with tried and true products along with new innovative techniques to achieve the perfect results. Elfa absolutely loves being a hairstylist and her clients love her too, most return on a monthly basis to refresh their locks.

Lora began her journey in the salon industry as a receptionist and steadily worked her way up. In 2014, she opened The District Salon, creating a space built on creativity, connection, and high-quality care.
With over 20 years of experience, Lora specializes in customized color, from bold reds to effortless blondes, and delivers precision haircuts tailored to each client. She believes in using only salon-quality products that prioritize hair health, and she’s committed to ongoing education to stay ahead of trends and techniques.
For Lora, it’s about more than great hair, it’s about building lasting relationships and making every client feel confident and cared for.

With 20 years of experience behind the chair in the Bay Area, I bring a deep passion and commitment to the craft of hair. I specialize in
corrective color and lived-in color, while also enjoying the full spectrum of hair color services and precision cutting. Staying current is a top priority for me-l'm always engaged in continued education to stay on top of trends and techniques.
Outside of the salon, I love spending time outdoors and making memories with my son.

MEREDITH WILLIAMS
Meredith is a seasoned colorist known for her expertise in bright blondes and dimensional color that brings depth, glow, and effortless beauty to every client. Originally from Arkansas, she brings a warm, welcoming energy to her craft — blending Southern charm with a love for natural, sun-kissed results.
Meredith is a proud mom of two and dog-mom to Tony. When she’s not in the salon, you’ll find her soaking up beach days or enjoying a great glass of white wine. Her clients love her for her eye for detail, her thoughtful approach, and the way she makes every visit feel like a little luxury.

Regina has been a trusted hairstylist in Dana Point since 1997, bringing over two decades of experience to her craft. Her passion for the beauty industry, combined with continuous education and a keen eye for detail, has allowed her to stay ahead of trends and provide her clients with the highest quality service. Regina’s extensive knowledge, creativity, and dedication to her craft make her a standout stylist in the area, known for delivering personalized, beautiful results every time.

Tori is a color specialist who graduated from Paul Mitchell Academy in 2005. Her love for color shows in every transformation—but that’s not all she does. Tori also excels in haircuts and men’s cuts, bringing style and precision to every appointment.
She’s constantly staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques, because great hair never stands still. One thing’s for sure: Tori won’t let you leave her chair until your hair is looking its absolute best.
